Please see the list below of yardage requirements for sewing workshops at Craftcation Conference 2018.

PLEASE NOTE: YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BRING YOUR OWN FABRIC!!!! WE WILL HAVE PLENTY OF FABRIC FOR YOU TO CHOOSE FROM. The info below is for attendees who want to bring their own special fabric to use and want to know how much to bring.

ALL SEWING CLASS STUDENTS:

Please arrive at your class 15-30 minutes before it begins to choose and cut your fabric at the JOANN fabric wall and cutting station (outside the Puerto 1 and 2 sewing rooms). To avoid lines and waiting at the fabric wall, you can also choose and cut your fabric during any free time before your class. Choosing and cutting your fabric before your class will give you more time to sew!

*These yardage requirements for each class as well as cutting instructions will be posted at the fabric wall.

ABOUT FABRIC TYPES:

Woven and knit fabrics will be in separate areas on our fabric wall. A simplified explanation of the difference between a woven and knit fabric is that a woven fabric is not stretchy and a knit fabric is (although there are exceptions). Ie: t-shirt material = knit / classic button up business shirt = woven. If you’re confused ask someone at your local fabric shop or read this article.
