We’re so excited that you’re joining us Craftcation. Please take a moment to read the important info below.

REGISTRATION

YOU MUST REGISTER FOR THE CONFERENCE BY January 15, 2019.

Hands-on workshop registration starts on February 23, 2019 at 10:00am PT. We’ll send out info about the code to register on January 16th. If you have not registered by January 15th, 2019 you will not get the link to sign up for hands-on classes.

To register:
1. Click HERE.
2. Click “enter promotional code” (in turquoise in the upper left hand corner of the ticket box) then enter: ccpss19 and click “apply code”.
3. The special ticket “Craftcation Presenter Ticket” will then appear in the box. You will NOT see your ticket until you enter the promo code. Make sure you choose the correct ticket, which is “Craftcation Presenter Ticket”!
3. Choose “Craftcation Presenter Ticket” ticket and quantity 1 (or more if you are registering multiple people from your team). You may need to scroll down within the box to see your ticket.
4. Click “order now” (you may need to scroll down within the box to see “order now”) and then fill out the form and continue the registration process.
*We will not send a reminder about this so please do it ASAP.

The schedule is live! Please check the schedule page on our website to see when your classes are. If you see any conflicts please notify us ASAP at nicole@dearhandmadelife.com.

REGISTERING FOR WORKSHOPS

Registration for craft workshops is on 2.23.19 at 10:00am PT. Classes fill up FAST – seriously fast, so be ready to register at 10:00am PT at which time we’ll post a password to access workshop registration on the attendee news page, the private attendee Facebook group AND email it to all registered presenters. You will NOT be able to register for classes without this password. All the specific info about registering for classes is on the attendee news page HERE. If this is your first time at Craftcation, you should review all the info on that page.

POP-UP SHOP + BOOK SIGNING

WE MUST RECEIVE YOUR ITEMS BETWEEN MARCH 18 – MARCH 28, 2019.

Shipments received BEFORE OR AFTER this date will be returned to sender.

The pop-up shop is open during the whole conference and is fully staffed. You send your stuff, we sell it, take 40% and send you a check and any remaining items after Craftcation. Please pick up your items on Sunday if possible! 🙂

POP-UP SHOP/BOOK SIGNING SHIPMENT INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Email Nicole@dearhandmadelife.com and let her know you’re sending stuff for the shop.
  2. Click here: Craftcation 2019 Pop up Shop Shipping Form to download the inventory form, instructions, shipping address etc. You must follow the instructions on this form when you ship your items.

If you want to also sign the books you send for the pop-up shop at our author book signings, please:

  1. Email Nicole@dearhandmadelife.com the name(s) of your books and how many you’re sending.
  2. Send the books via the pop-up shop shipping instructions above.

Our staff brings the books to the events, sells the books and you just sit and sign. Attendees love the book signings. 🙂

CRAFT WORKSHOP SUPPLY SHIPMENTS

If you are sending supplies for your craft workshops please read below.

PRESENTATIONS

WE MUST RECEIVE YOUR POWERPOINT/PRESENTATIONS BY MARCH 15TH.

If you are planning to have a Powerpoint or digital presentation, we MUST HAVE it in advance so that we can organize them and have them ready to go at the conference.

-Please send all presentations to Spaulding@dearhandmadelife.com

-Title your email “your last name + presentation + name of your workshop”

PANELISTS + PANEL MODERATORS

If you are on a panel or a panel moderator, we’ll send out an email connecting you with your fellow panelists so you can organize and prepare your presentations.

GIFT BAG INCLUSION

You are welcome to include products/promotional items in the Craftcation gift bags. If you have already let us know you’re sending things for the gift bags – great! If not, please email Nicole@dearhandmadelife.com and let her know what you’re sending ASAP. We will have 500 gift bags.

If you want to have items in the gift bags please:

HOTEL

Spaulding (our operations master) will be emailing you soon about hotel rooms. We book and pay for your room (sharing with another presenter) for nights depending on how many workshops you’re teaching and when your workshops are scheduled. Normally we book your room for the days you will be teaching and the day before and/or after if you are from out of town/teaching more than three classes. If you want to confirm what nights we will book a room for you, please email Spaulding@dearhandmadelife.comDO NOT contact the hotel directly.

If you wish to stay for the whole conference/longer than the nights we book for you:

  1. Book your own room either at the Marriott or another hotel, AirBnB etc. We will reimburse you for the equivalent cost of the shared room we would have booked for you. Please let Spaulding@dearhandmadelife.com know ASAP if you wish to do this.
    Please also fill out Craftcation 2019 hotel / supply form and email it to us before April 10th, 2018.
  2. Email Spaulding and let her know which nights you want to stay and we will book a room for you and you can reimburse us for any nights not covered by the number of workshops you’re teaching.
AFFILIATE PROGRAM

Join our affiliate program HERE.

You’ll get 10% of the ticket price for attendees you refer. That means that for every attendee that signs up referred by your link, you’ll get between $36.00 and $49.00 (depending on which ticket they purchase)!

*Even if you don’t want to get affiliate commission for sharing about Craftcation, we’d REALLY APPRECIATE IT if you still shared about the conference with your audience.

If you want to get commission for attendees you refer, be sure to change the links to the link that you get when you sign up for the affiliate program. We’ll send out affiliate payments after registration closes.

OFFICE HOURS

If you would like to offer office hours at Craftcation please fill out the form below. Office hours are one-on-one mini-mentoring sessions usually 5-20 minutes each and are ideal to connect with attendees/potential clients and share your knowledge.

WE MUST RECEIVE YOUR ANSWERS TO THE OFFICE HOURS QUESTIONS BELOW BY FEBRUARY 15TH.

If you want to offer office hours:

  1. Look at the schedule to decide when you’d like to schedule them. (Schedule will be up in January 2019)
  2. Fill out the form below and HIT SUBMIT.

Craftcation 2019 office hours form

  • Please share what topics you'll cover in your office hours. If you included a description on your presenter proposal form please copy and paste it below.

    For example: "Social Media Strategy: Office hours are ideal if you have a couple of questions surrounding your online presence, or feel a bit overwhelmed with social media and building a cohesive voice online. Topics I discuss during these meetings are social media, content strategy, blogging, community building, productivity, tech (platforms, resources, tools) and crafting a newsletters."

  • Most office hours are 10-20 minutes. Please let us know how long you'd like to spend with each attendee.

    For example: 10 minutes

  • Please list the days and time blocks for your office hours above.

    For example: Thursday 11:00-2:00 Friday 9:00-10:00 and 2:00-3:00

    NOTE: If you’re doing office hours on multiple days please make sure to note the day and time block for each day.

*Once you hit submit, this page will refresh and you will no longer see this form. You will also get an email confirmation. If you don’t get an email confirmation, please contact us Nicole@dearhandmadelife.com to make sure we received your form.

Here’s some info to help your with your office hours:

  1. The sheets with the time slots you sent me will be posted upstairs outside the pop-up shop (Zuma room) at the hotel.
  2. When you arrive and throughout the conference, please check there to see which slots people signed up for. Be prepared and available for all the time slots you listed.
  3. Five or so minutes before your time slot, please find a table in the bar and wait for your office hours attendee. The attendee should find you (your photos are in the program) but if you see someone wandering and looking, feel free to see if it’s your person. 🙂
  4. If you have another spot you’d prefer to meet, like by the pool, you must add a little note at the top of your sheet about where to meet BEFORE anyone signs up.
  5. Office hours attendees are supposed to write their phone number next to the name in their time slot. If an issue arrises, please text them.
