CRAFTCATION 2023 - PRESENTER information

Welcome Craftcation 2023 Presenters! We’re Nik and Katie Mac and we make up 2/3 of the Craftcation Planning Team. Nik is the Manager of all things Craft and Katie Mac is the COO + Director of Digital here at Dear Handmade Life. 

This page is your  a one-stop spot for all things Craftcation Presenter related so please bookmark it for easy access.

*Some sections below may be empty or marked as coming soon as we are in the first phase of preparations but we’ll be adding information regularly so keep checking back. We’ll also send reminder emails as needed so that nothing gets forgotten.

REGISTRATION

DUE: JANUARY 31, 2023

If you are not registered by the due date of January 31, 2023 you will not receive information on how to register for our hands-on craft workshops and think tanks that require enrollment.

lodging: TRAVEL REQUEST FORM

DUE: January 31, 2023

Your room can only be booked AFTER you fill out the lodging form below. The reservations are generally made in March. If you have any questions before that time, feel free to reach out

BUSINESS LECTURES/PANELS: presentations

DUE: MARCH 15, 2023

If applicable, click the button below to submit your Workshop Presentation. Presentations will be loaded onto a Craftcation laptop and prepped and ready for your workshop. For streamlining and technical reasons, presenters are no longer allowed to use their own laptops to present.

ALL WORKSHOPS: DIGITAL handouts

In an effort to be more environmentally conscious, we no longer print informational handouts for workshops. You are welcome to bring the printed handouts to the workshop with you. OR we will distribute them electronically to the attendees registered for your workshop. If you would like us to distribute the handout, please use the form below to submit your document.

office hours

DUE: MARCH 15, 2023

Office hours are one-on-one sessions that allow you the opportunity to connect with attendees for more personalized engagement. These sessions are set around your schedule in 1+ hour blocks that are split up into 10-20 min sessions. As these are set around your schedule, you can offer as many or as few sessions as you’d like – it’s completely up to you. This is your chance to offer mini-mentorship to creatives in need and share more about your services. Conference attendees will sign up to join you for Office Hours once they arrive at the conference.

Do you have a craft kit, book, embroidery pattern, sticker set, etc. that you would like to sell in our pop-up shop? Use the button below to access the inventory sheet and shipping instructions. You send your items, we display and sell them in our fully-staffed and secure Pop-Up Shop and you’ll receive payment for 50% of your sales by May 15, 2023.
