WILL YOU BE LEADING A workshop AS PART OF YOUR SPONSORSHIP?

If you are leading a workshop as a part of your sponsorship, you will need to submit a Workshop Proposal Form and a Sponsor Profile Form. You must submit one workshop proposal form FOR EACH of the workshops you are proposing. After you press submit at the bottom of the form, you will see a button to submit a new form. 

BUSINESS LECTURES/PANELS: PRESENTATIONS

DUE: MARCH 15, 2023

If applicable, click the button below to submit your Workshop Presentation. Presentations will be loaded onto a Craftcation laptop and prepped and ready for your workshop. For streamlining and technical reasons, presenters are no longer allowed to use their own laptops to present.

In an effort to be more environmentally conscious, we no longer print informational handouts for workshops. You are welcome to bring the printed handouts to the workshop with you. OR we will distribute them electronically to the attendees registered for your workshop. If you would like us to distribute the handout, please use the form below to submit your document.

PODCAST AD

DUE: ROLLING ACCEPTANCE. WE WILL PLACE YOUR AD IN THE NEXT AVAILABLE SPOT AFTER YOUR SUBMISSION IS RECEIVED.

If a podcast ad is part of of your sponsorship package, you can either send us text and we will record and ad for you or you can record it yourself and send it to us. office hours

Office hours are one-on-one sessions that allow you the opportunity to connect with attendees for more personalized engagement. These sessions are set around your schedule in 1+ hour blocks that are split up into 10-20 min sessions. As these are set around your schedule, you can offer as many or as few sessions as you’d like – it’s completely up to you. This is your chance to offer mini-mentorship to creatives in need and share more about your services. Conference attendees will sign up to join you for Office Hours once they arrive at the conference.

If you’re including items in the gift bags or have a marketplace booth, room sponsorship, make and take activity at an event or other large or special shipment, please follow the shipping instructions below. 

NOTE: ALL special or large shipments MUST be coordinated through Leanndra@dearhandmadelife.com or you risk your package being refused by the venue.

GIFT BAG INFO: The quantity for the gift bags is 550. 

POP-UP SHOP INFO: The Craftcation Pop-Up Shop is full-staffed and open during business hours during the conference. It is locked and secured after-hours. We will sell your products in our Pop-Up shop during our event and after, we will send back any remaining inventory and a check for your sales minus 45%.

REGISTRATION

DUE: JANUARY 18, 2023

***Please register ONLY the amount of representatives agreed upon in your package.*** If you are not registered by the due date of January 18, 2023 you will not receive information on how to register for our hands-on craft workshops and think tanks that require enrollment.

LODGING

LOOKING TO STAY ON-SITE AT THE BEAUTIFUL VENTURA BEACH MARRIOTT? 
The hotel offers a restaurant and lounge, outdoor swimming pool, fitness center and easy access to the beach. Link to discounted room block coming soon.

ADDITIONAL LODGING OPTIONS: 

  • Waypoint Ventura: Vintage trailers near the beach. We’ve never stayed there but it’s SO cute!
  • The Pierpont Inn: a two-minute drive from the Marriott. We’ve stayed there before and we liked its quaint atmosphere, cottages and manicured grounds. It recently changed ownership and we haven’t been there since but they have great ocean views and a historical vibe.
  • The Crowne Plaza: It’s a three-minute drive to the Marriott. This was the former home of Craftcation. It’s right on the beach and they have lots of patio seating overlooking the ocean. Walkable to downtown Ventura.
  • The Best Western: Also a three-minute drive to the Marriott. This is a great old-school style motor inn that was renovated a few years ago to bring back the retro charm a la Schitt’s Creek. Walkable to downtown Ventura!
