CRAFTCATION 2020 POSTPONEMENT UPDATE

After careful consideration, detailed monitoring of the COVID-19 crisis, its progress and setbacks and government regulations on gatherings, we have made the difficult decision to officially postpone Craftcation 2020 until 2021.

The new dates are April 7-11, 2021.

We have compiled information below to help answer questions you may have and guide you through the next steps. If you have any questions that aren’t addressed on this page, please email katiemac@dearhandmadelife.com. We are committed to helping you every step up the way through this uncharted change of events.

REGISTRATION OPTIONS

Because of the nature of event planning, paying our vendors in advance, etc., Craftcation has always maintained a strict no refunds policy. This is something each attendee must agree to in the Eventbrite registration process before your transaction is complete. However, due to this year’s postponement, we are offering four different ways for you to either get your money back, attend Craftcation’s 2021 dates and more. Please read through the options below and fill out the form at the end of this section to submit your option.

OPTION 1: Transfer your ticket to Craftcation 2021 (April 7-11, 2021). Your current registration will transfer to the new dates and, aside from filling out the form below to notify us of this decision, no further action is required on your part. You’ll be able to access your registration with the new dates in your Eventbrite account.

OPTION 2: Transfer your ticket to a future Craftcation. We will make a note in our records that you have paid for a registration and will be applying it to a future Craftcation (dates TBD). If you decide at a later time that you would rather sell your ticket, we can help you through this process. More information on selling your tickets in Option 3. We will email you a follow up email with further instructions and details.

OPTION 3: Sell your ticket. Plans change, life happens, schedules conflict. We totally get it. Each year we have people looking for tickets to our sold out conference. The process of selling your ticket is simple. You share about your available ticket, arrange payment with a new attendee, then email us their contact information and we make the transfer for you. Easy peasy. If you would like for us to assist you in finding a buyer, please fill out this form. We will be matching interested buyers/sellers on a first-come, first-served basis. Please let us know if you have any questions about this process.

OPTION 4: Donate your 2020 ticket back to Craftcation. Donating your ticket helps us keep Craftcation alive, pay our amazing staff since our income has completely stopped. If you are fortunate enough to be in the financial position to do this in support of Craftcation and Dear Handmade Life, we are forever grateful. Craftcation is a labor of love and most of the work that we’ve already done will need to be done again. Of course, you are welcome to purchase a ticket to join us for Craftcation 2021 and we will have special discounted tickets available for all those who select this option. We will email you a follow up email with further instructions and details.

Please fill out this form by JUNE 1, 2020 to let us know which of the above options you select.

ADDITIONAL UPDATES

MARRIOTT RESERVATIONS

Because of the announcement to postpone earlier this year, the Marriott took care of canceling all reservations currently booked for the 2020 Conference. Once we have dates and details finalized, we’ll make an announcement letting you know that rooms are available so that you can make your reservation for the new dates. The process of reserving rooms will be the same as it was this year for attendees and presenters.

2020 WORKSHOPS, SCHEDULES, EVENTS, ETC.

We have already invited all the 2020 presenters back and are working to keep as much of the same content as possible plus a lot more new workshops and instructors! Unfortunately, since the schedule will have to be redone from scratch, individual workshop registrations from 2020 will no longer be applicable. We will host a new workshop registration day in February 2021.[/vc_column_text][vc_separator][vc_column_text]
