Podcast 127: Time Management, Trauma, and Productivity with Nache Snow. Each time I leapt into the next chapter of my career whether it was dropping out of grad school to become an artist or quitting the six-figure business I’d sacrificed everything to build to focus fully on helping other creative people through Dear Handmade Life, I was scared (actually terrified), and second guessed myself a lot. But, I also know that this is it and living someone else’s dream for me isn’t going to cut it.

Our guest on the podcast today, podcaster, online educator, and maker @nachesnow knows about taking risks too. After a traumatic car accident, she stopped caring about what other people thought about her and her choices and she realized as she said, that “the majority of our time should be having fun because we only get one life”.

And, if you want to live your big bold beautiful messy life and go after your dreams, you’re going to have a pretty long TO-DO list, so you’re going to have to learn how to manage all those tasks. That’s where Naché's skills in and love of time management and productivity come in. Tomorrow is my birthday. Guess how old I'll be?

45!
Yeah...
👶🏻45 with an almost two-year-old baby.

👩🏼‍💻45 and I've spent over half of my life being my own boss and running my creative businesses.

👩‍❤️‍👨45 and I didn't meet my love match until I was in my late 30s.

📝45 and my list of things I want to do before I leave this earth seems to get longer and get less elaborate every year.

🤫45 and I know the secret to life, I've known it since I read Henry Miller 📚 when I was likely too young to really understand everything in them and I read the Wisdom of the Heart when I was 14 and this line burrowed into my mind...
"The aim of life is to live, and to live means to be aware joyously, drunkenly, serenely, divinely aware. In this state of god-like awareness one sings; in this realm the world exists as poem.”

So, that's what my 45-year-old self will be doing tomorrow... trying to live in the realm where the world is a poem. Cheers!
