Podcast 131: Authenticity and Following What Makes You Come Alive with Kathryn Lounsbery

If you're not at least a little scared when you share your art, whatever it is, you're missing the point.

The point is to push yourself outside your comfort zone, to make what you wish existed, and ultimately to follow what makes you come alive. As theologian Howard Thurman said: ”Don’t ask yourself what the world needs. Ask yourself what makes you come alive, and go do that, because what the world needs is people who have come alive.”

Today’s episode of our podcast is all about coming alive- that painful but necessary space between what we want to make and what we’re capable of making; being authentic; life as a creative outcast; and more, during my talk with musical artist (she’s a pianist, vocal coach, educator, comedian, music director, composer AND arranger) Kathryn Lounsbery aka @thatpianogirlkat.

You can find Kathryn here on Instagram, and get to know her on her website here.
