There’s only one real criteria to be a candidate for wall space in this Los Angeles Chinatown spot – you must be an outsider artist or someone who has not received formal training.

Delilah, Nicole and Paige share resources on how they educate themselves on running a creative business, the importance of a multi-layered education and they break down what they’ve had to deal with to start up creative businesses that they never went to school for and why, in the end, sometimes breaking those rules in the best idea.

Tamarind Margarita
Author: Delilah Snell
Serves: 2 drinks
Ingredients
  • ¼ cup of tamarind paste/concentrate (available on-line or in Indian grocery stores)
  • ¼ cup of lime juice
  • 2 shots of triple sec
  • 4 shots of tequila
  • 1-2 tablespoons of honey, agave or other sweetener
  • Ice
  • Lime wedge for garnish
Instructions
  1. Place all ingredients (not garnish) in a cocktail shaker or mason jar with lid and shake well for 1 minute.
  2. Pour into cups (including ice) and garnish with lime.
