How to Make a DIY Air Plant Terrarium

How to Make a DIY Air Plant Terrarium I’m going to be honest here. Sometimes I just need simple and fast DIY gratification. There’s something therapeutic about starting and actually completing a project in one short sitting. And it really doesn’t get simpler (or faster) than this project. Seriously guys, it’s only three simple steps and can be completed in just a couple of minutes.

 WHAT TO DO:

1. Starting with a clean beaker, place a layer of river rocks at the bottom.

Because of the beaker, I think this terrarium would make a rad back-to-school teacher gift! However, you can replicate this project in just about any other kind of open glass vessel. I would love to hear your suggestions for a unique terrarium vessel in the comments below!

  1. I’m crazy for Air plants right now.
My vessel is a mason jar and I fill the bottom with leftover buttons from my projects. Layer moss on top of the buttons and then I can always find a spare button when I need it!
