Patchwork Show Ventura Spring 2023 – RECAP
We just stopped at Downtown Ventura last weekend as we continue making our way around California for our Spring season of modern craft fairs and what a fun day! The weather was a perfect combination of overcast with the sun peeking through the clouds giving everyone a breezy day of outdoor shopping, making crafts, and listening to great music. Brasscals, a brass street band got the market going by adding their delightful music to the experience of Patchwork and got everyone involved. There was even a limbo interlude! The Odd Birds were charming as ever lending their folksy tunes to the afternoon. We had lots of guests already walking around downtown. Many folks were out and about with their Dads and Father-figures celebrating Father’s Day while browsing and meeting our local vendors!
Our activities at this show were hopping, too with:
- Vintage fabric mushroom ornament with It’s Jenn Vintage Fabrics and Creations
- Bath scrubs and Oracle Reading with Soul SiSTAR Mystique featuring Aromachaura
- Wire wrapped gemstone crowns with Chablee
- Card making with Selene Aura Arts
We still have two more stops this season, so if you haven’t quite got your fix of shopping local makers or you haven’t been able to make it to one of our shows yet, there’s still time! This coming weekend will be in Santa Rosa, CA at the Old Courthouse Square and the following weekend we’ll be wrapping up our season at The Works in El Segundo, CA! Come say hello and find some cool stuff!
See you there!
