Patchwork Show Santa Ana Fall 2018
We closed out our fall 2018 Patchwork Show at our Santa Ana location last Sunday. Our Santa Ana location holds a special place in my heart since it was the site of the first ever Patchwork Show over a decade ago. Over the years we’ve moved from a tiny parking lot to two tiny parking lots to several street to Artists Village to the 4th Street Market area and this time we moved back to our Artists Village spot. Although I have nostalgic love for all of our locations, our Artists Village spot has always been my favorite. Being centered on the promenade nestled in the middle of Grand Central Art Center feels like the perfect place for a show that celebrates creativity and community.
The show had the intimate “family” vibe that reminded me of our early days. Guests shopped from over 200 makers (including a handful of our Patchwork Junior vendors – makers under age 18), got creative making DIY mini holiday wreaths with M.Lovewell, buttons with I am a Cockeyed Optimist and holiday cards in our DIY booth, snagged gift-ready tasty treats and lunch from over 20 food vendor and trucks all while enjoying the perfect weather!
We’re already looking forward to our spring 2019 season – we’re adding a new location in Ventura, California! Be sure not miss a show by joining our mailing list here.
Thanks to our vendors, guests, staff, partners, sponsors, venue and media partner Yelp! And a special thank you to Grand Central Art Center (hugs to John, Tracey, Lainey and the whole GCAC team), the restaurants, shops and residents in the area who welcomed us back with open arms and made it possible for us to return.
AND… BIG thanks to our guest event photographer Anne Siddall Photography who took the amazing photos below including the awesome panoramic collage!
