Patchwork Show San Francisco Fall 2021 – RECAP
We closed out our Patchwork Show season with our first ever show in San Francisco! This show was especially close to my heart as I lived in San Francisco in my late teens and early 20s. The city has changed so much since then but what hasn’t changed is the feeling of community I remember from when I lived there. I felt the San Francisco Love big time at our show surrounded by our creative community.
At the first of our two San Francisco shows this season, one of our vendors Fritz ‘n Chewy Apparel Company gifted every vendor at the show a pair of their incredibly soft and comfy socks. They walked around the show with a box of socks and handed them out like a small business Santa brightening everyone’s day. Walking around the show and chatting with the makers, I was reminded of why I love what I do… getting to work with and support all of the talented and kind makers at our show, that’s what keeps me going!
This was also our first show in a mall. And not just any mall, the Westfield San Francisco Centre in downtown where we were hosted under the historic and beyond gorgeous dome. Being out of the elements (it rained on Sunday) and under the gorgeous upside-down Christmas tree there made the whole day feel ultra festive and lux. What a perfect way to end our season!
We’ll see you next year at our spring shows (dates TBD). Join the list here to be notified of our spring dates.
P.S. – BIG thanks to our staff, vendors, guests and the Westfield SF and especially Nick from the Westfield for inviting us to SF and hosting us.
