How to Create Custom Cocktail Napkins with your Artwork on Spoonflower.com

Jeanetta Gonzales here with a big reveal! Remember the cocktail umbrella pattern I made and uploaded to Spoonflower in this blog post? Here is a great application for it! Cocktail napkins! Ā I went on Spoonflower.com and ordered the pattern in cocktail napkins. The napkins came back in a 4 pack and look great! They are colorful and fun.Ā 

I started thinking what I could pair them with and was inspired by the cherries in the pattern ā€“ why not make a cherry cocktail to compliment the design! Here is a yummy cherry basil cocktail recipe for you!

Cherry Basil Refresher

Ingredients:
1 oz. simple syrup (make 1 part sugar to 1 part water)
1 oz. lemon juice
5-6 cherries, pitted and cut in half
4-5 basil leaves (if you like more basil use 5)
1-2 cherries and a basil leaf to garnish the cocktail
2 oz. sparking waterĀ 
Add 1 shot of vodka (omit vodka for mocktail version)

Instructions:
Place the simple syrup, cherries and basil in a cocktail shaker.
Muddle the three ingredients well, smashing down the fruit.
Add vodka and lemon juice to the shaker (omit vodka for mocktail)
Fill the cocktail shaker with ice and shake until frothy
Strain the cocktail into a cocktail glass
Add an ice cube, top with sparking water and garnish
