Patchwork Show Long Beach Spring 2015
Our final show of the Spring 2015 Patchwork Show season was in Long Beach and this time we were back at our original location at Marine Stadium. It was a perfect day… Not too hot but sunny with a light breeze to cool us off.
This show we had a few new food trucks serving falafel dishes from FalasophyĀ and even lobster items from Cousins Main Lobster, both of which were big hits in addition to popular friends PiaggioĀ and Farmers Belly. We also had the pleasure of working with Pedal Movement, a local organization that promotes bike education who operated our bike valet. They were incredible!Ā We’re looking forward to working with them more in the future.
For the past five years we have been partnering with local Long Beach coffeehouse favorite Viento y Agua for music. Their whole team has been amazing and they have brought so many talented local musicians to Long Beach Patchwork Show. This show we were super excited to have the talents of the Long Beach Folk Revival Festival Ā hosting another music stage that had a number of people tapping their feet! I really love how this whole season there have been more music components to all of our shows. People seem to really enjoy it.
Sienne Josselin’s DIY station debuted at this show and she had the crowds decorating mini journals. Her booth was hopping, she told me later that she was talking so much she was about to loose her voice! Sienne’s DIY booth and Lisa Cherry’s DIY booth of The Makery were both super popular all day.
It was a fantastic way to close out the season and it has been a great one. We are looking forward to a little rest and relaxation and planning for the holiday season, you will be hearing about Fall dates very soon!
A big thank you to all attendees, partners, vendors and our team for a fantastic Spring 2015!
XO, Delilah
